Igor Luksic, PhD., Deputy Prime Minister for International Economic Cooperation, Structural Reforms and Business Environment Improvement and Finance Minister of the Government of Montenegro

Igor Luksic was born on 14th June 1976, in Bar, where he finished elementary and high school. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica, on 10th June 1998, course entrepreneurship. At the same Faculty he obtained a Masters Degree on 3rd October 2002, the topic "Spontaneous Order and Transition and a Ph.D. on 10th September 2005, topic "Transition - Process of Achieving Economic and Political Freedoms."

In the period June 1998 - February 2000, he worked as the assistant on implementation of assistance programmes of the European Commission "Obnova" in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro. From February 2000 to January 2001, he worked as an advisor for international relations in the DPS (Democratic Part of Socialists)
